Projects are only successful if they are delivered on time and within budget. The management of projects has three macro phases of planning, execution and completion. Effective project management is crucial in ensuring that all the resources needed are planned and effectively managed.

Course Description

This instructor led course examines the elements of Project management and the tools required for effective planning, execution and completion of projects. During the course, delegates will have the opportunity to investigate various tools and techniques that complement one another in achieving the project goal.

The Learning Gain

At the end of this course the delegates will be able to:-

	Demonstrate an understanding of the tools and structure of project management.
	Apply planning, monitoring and management tools to any project.
	Identify the key deliverables of any project, using these to measure project performance in objective terms.
	Establish project gateways and key events such that the necessary resources can be aligned to these needs.
	Plan and manage the necessary resources to aid the success of any project
	Provide a method of communicating progress to all interested and affected parties
