News!

This is where we'll announce the most recent changes to our web site and to publish news stories. If you've visited us before and want to know what's changed, take a look here first.

New Prices

In these lean times, investment in training seems to be the first thing that is cut. Understanding the need for a continuous improvement program we have reduced our prices in order to assist companies in their training. Our new price structure should enable the continued development of people and processes. Details can be found on our Price Structure page.

Six Sigma Programme

SAS Ltd have recently published their 'Six Sigma Programme'. This document is intended as an explanation and introduction to the service that SAS Ltd can supply to customers considering a Six Sigma programme within their organisation. This document is freely available on request. You can obtain a copy by clicking here to jump to our Feedback form or by emailing us.

New Order Form

We now have an online order form that enables you to place an order for any of the listed courses and application workshops featured on our website. It also enables you to order any bespoke training that your company requires. So, if you know what you want then please click here to jump to the form

Training Needs Analysis Tool

SAS Ltd are developing a new tool to aid in Training Needs Analysis (TNA). In the form of a slide rule, the tool will aid in determining any skills gap for any given job function. There will be variants for the different models and the first to be published will cover the Advanced Quality Planning model. As this will prove to be a valuable aid, SAS Ltd has sought and obtained copyright protection. If you are interested in how this TNA can help your company, please contact us.

New People Development Skills

We recognise more and more that companies are looking to develop their own people as well as their business and manufacturing processes. With this in mind we have updated our portfolio to include a lot of these People Development Skills. Details can be found by clicking here to navigate to the People Development page

Free Seminar - Continuous Improvement

Graham Cripps addressing the seminar

Selected companies recently attended a seminar held at Newland Hall near Chelmsford, Essex. The theme of the two day event was Continuous Improvement and gave an overview on many subjects that contribute to a successful Continuous Improvement program.

The subjects covered where:-

bulletUnderstanding Variation
bulletProblem Solving
bulletEffective Teams
bulletProcess Control
bulletProblem Prevention
bulletImproving Personal Performance
bulletQuality Planning
bulletKaizen
bulletRobustness Engineering
bulletValue Analysis & Engineering
bulletCustomer Focused Engineering
bulletQuality Management Systems

With practical exercises run throughout the two days and the opportunity for the delegates to question the attending trainers and consultants on various 'quality' issues, the event was deemed a complete success.

Those attending were asked to complete a 'feedback questionnaire' which has enabled SAS Ltd to make improvements to the event, for the next time it is conducted. The comments received during and after the seminar lead us to believe that this was  both a successful and valued event made possible by the level of discussion and interaction during the two days. Some of the comments include:

"I have been impressed with the quality and approachability of your staff"

"Very enjoyable and informative"

"A good overview of Continuous Improvement, well presented"

The topics of most interest to the delegates were quoted as being Kaizen and the people development skills and problem solving. Future events will feature more heavily in these areas.

Everyone who attended, staff included, did comment on the comfort of the chairs however and has been duly noted. Next time, we will be providing soft cushions to ease those having to sit for so long!

If you are interested in any of the subjects that where covered you can find details of them on our Tools page. If you would like to discuss your personal requirements, please either use or Feedback Form or contact us using the more conventional methods below
